I have been able to work around this by setting myself up as the company accountant, but that is a pain as well because I have to log out and back in if the account needs to be unreconciled. I am the company accountant and had to set myself up as if I were an outside accountant to get access to that button. That means no one else in the company can undo a reconciliation.
